Over The Edge Chalet is undoubtedly Colorado’s finest ski-in, ski out home available for rental. Nestled high alongside Steamboat’s legendary Mt. Werner and offering guests over 10,000 square feet of living space. A stunning architectural achievement, this spectacular 7 bedroom, 7.5 bath home boasts an incredible facade of stone block, field stone and mahogany that blend seamlessly into the mountainside landscape. Once inside, guests enjoy modern mountain decor designed by TRH interiors, known internationally for their work with Ritz Carlton Club properties around the world.
No expense was spared to provide our guests with every amenity they could possibly desire. The home boasts a gourmet kitchen equipped with Wolf and Subzero appliances that is perfect for both mom’s cooking and the gourmet chef we will be glad to set up for you. The design of the home allows for large dinner parties where friends remain connected and seated comfortably at either of our two dining areas. Around the corner, but on the same floor, is a game room with fully equipped bar, pool table, shuffleboard table, two large TV’s, poker table and seating around the beautiful stone fireplace. The entertainment system allows you to access your own music stations and playlists with Sonos throughout the house and out to the exterior decks.
Downstairs guests will find a comfortable den with Smart TV, PS4 and Xbox One video games, plus a Blu-Ray DVD for a great place to relax after a long day on the slopes. Open another door and you will find an air-conditioned theater, equipped with 3 levels of 12 leather reclining chairs and room for more on the floor, a 130 inch screen, Blu-Ray DVD, HD cable, Apple TV to Airplay or access your own streaming accounts. The theater room has great sound and integrated lighting, perfect for a movie night or a ball game during your stay, watching family movies or a presentation for our corporate clients. You’ll never want to leave the home!
On Colorado’s sunny days and starry nights, our guests can enjoy four large decks year round with beautiful views in every direction. The lower level deck overlooking the ski run continues the length of the home and has several seating & lounging options around a large fire table. Stairs from this level’s deck also leads to the slopes or the new heated pool and hot tub deck below. The main living level deck off the formal living room has an umbrellaed dining table and Napoleon grill. The spectacular rooftop deck with hot tub, fireplace, more seating on a heated surface for year round enjoyment. The main Master bedroom has a 5th bonus private deck with bistro set to enjoy a peaceful morning coffee or romantic evening glass of wine.
When bedtime arrives, relax in one of our 7 beautifully decorated bedrooms, all with Smart TVs, large closets and attached baths. This property has WIFI and comes fully stocked with paper products (paper towels, toilet paper, tissues), bathroom toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, soap), and detergents (dish, dishwasher, and laundry) as well as clean bed linens and towels.
